Culture is what people do to continue living meaningfully. Producing culture, then, is more than just holding events or projects. It is making space for listening, recognizing plural knowledge, challenging rigid formats, and creating real conditions so that more voices can tell their stories, in their own way, with their own codes. And when these stories take shape, audiovisual media becomes one of our favorite languages for sharing them. At Beirada, it is an extension of words and gestures: it serves to record, teach, raise awareness, and provoke. It can take the form of a film, a documentary series, a learning trail, or an educational capsule, always to broaden the reach of ideas and give substance to narratives that matter. Our cultural projects start from what is essential: respect for contexts, dialogue with territories, appreciation of diverse identities and aesthetics, and the belief that no one is just an audience member; everyone is, to some extent, an author of the culture they share.
